The Centre is located at the top of the Royal Mile, beside Edinburgh Castle. The parking lot in Castle Terrace is a 7 minute walk, Waverley Railway Station is 10 minutes, and the bus station is 15 minutes.

The Centre welcomes over 180,000 visitors each year. The Whisky Bond Bar has over 250 different varieties of whisky to taste and the opportunity to join the Scotch Whisky Appreciation Society, with an introductory taste of four selected malts, tasting notes and other benefits. The Gift shop sells all brands available in the bar.

The Making of Scotch History:
Through a short and light hearted film, discover what makes Scotch Whisky unique. Adults receive a free taste of Scotch Whisky. Children receive juice and a balloon. All Whisky Tour visitors are awarded a commemorative certificate.
Lean about Scotland's whisky producing regions, and the influence they have on different Scotch whiskies. See the model distillery and learn about the production of Grain whisky. Then put your nose to the test and discover how to distinguish between Mal and Grain whisky.
The Blender's Ghost:
Meet the resident ghost at the heritage centre, the former Master Blender, who explains about life in the whisky trade and lets you in on some secrets of the art of whisky blending.
Whisky Berrel Ride:
Travel back in time. The whisky barrel ride will take you through 300 years of Scotch Whisky history. Life-lie figures, sounds and smells bring this fascinating story of life.
